    The Bible in Bite-sized Pieces

    Rabbi Debra will lead a discussion on Strong as Death is Love, Dr. Robert Alter’s translation and commentary on five biblical books (The Song of Songs, Ruth, Esther, Jonah, and Daniel). Dr. Alter recently completed a historical and acclaimed translation and commentary on the entire Hebrew Bible into English. Feb. 7 -- Book of Esther; March 7 -- The Song of Songs; April 4 -- The Book of Daniel; May 2 -- The Book of Ruth; and June 6 -- The Book of Jonah
