ADL Resources For Young People

On behalf of ADL Education, we wanted to share with you the following resources that can help guide you in leading these conversations.

Young people are learning about the unfolding events in the news, on social media and from their peers. As educators, parents and
caregivers, you may be eagerly searching for ways that you can help students or family members understand the current IsraeliPalestinian
conflict and antisemitism, while offering tools to encourage them to act as advocates and allies.

We have the following resources to help guide these challenging conversations with the young people in your life. Please share with your local school communities and with others in your network who would find these resources helpful.

Our work in Education is never more important than in these moments when we can directly address bias, discrimination and hate in its
ugliest forms. We have a vital role to play in times of suffering and in the wake of incidents of antisemitism, violence and hate – we have
the ability to hold space for young people as they process and respond to these acts of inhumanity and we can support educators as they
navigate these challenging conversations with their students.

Please let us know if you have any questions or are in need of support by emailing us at nynj@adl.org.
